As the Nadaburg Unified School District’s high school, Mountainside High School (MHS) provides students with a modern, student-centered learning experience that connects education to their interests, goals, and futures.
At MHS, we recognize that no two students are exactly alike. Our approach gives students opportunities to have voice and choice in their high school experience while maintaining high expectations for academic achievement, personal growth, leadership, and involvement.
Through in-person and online learning opportunities, technology-rich instruction, athletics, activities, and real-world connections, we challenge students to discover their strengths, pursue new opportunities, and prepare for life beyond graduation.
Whether a student’s next step is college, career, military service, technical training, or another pathway, our goal is for every Wolf to leave Mountainside prepared and confident about what comes next.

Choosing a high school is an important decision, and we want prospective students and families to experience Mountainside for themselves.
Campus tours are available for prospective middle and high school students and their families. Tours provide an opportunity to see our campus, learn more about the MHS experience, and explore the academic, athletic, extracurricular, and learning opportunities available to our students.
Each year, incoming freshmen from Nadaburg Elementary School, Desert Oasis Elementary School, and Morristown Elementary School also have opportunities to connect with Mountainside administrators, faculty, and coaches to learn more about making the transition to high school and becoming part of the Wolf Pack.
To protect instructional time and maintain a safe, focused learning environment for our students, Mountainside High School does not offer student shadowing.
