What is Dual Enrollment?

eCTE Web Banner
At NUSD’s middle schools, early Career & Technical Education (eCTE) introduces students to all nationally recognized career clusters through hands-on projects, leadership activities, and real-world problem solving over the course of 7th & 8th grades.. eCTE helps students build self-awareness, discover career interests, and develop the foundational professional skills they’ll carry into high school and beyond.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) connects what students learn in the classroom to the real world through hands-on projects, leadership opportunities, industry certifications, and career exploration across all nationally recognized career clusters. From sports medicine to graphic design, software and app design to marketing, video production to law and public safety and early childhood development, our programs give students the chance to discover their passions, build practical skills, and graduate prepared for what comes next.

Nadaburg Unified School District’s CTE programs prepare every student to:

  • Gain real-world skills that employers want today.

  • Earn industry-recognized credentials that open doors tomorrow.

  • Explore multiple career pathways while still in middle and high school.

  • Lead, collaborate, and innovate through project-based learning and student leadership experiences.

Whether your goal is college, career, or both, CTE helps you get there faster, stronger, and with purpose.

CTE Ambassador

Career Ambassador Program
The NUSD CTE Career Ambassador Program empowers students to become leaders and advocates for Career & Technical Education across our district. Ambassadors serve as role models, sharing their CTE experiences with peers, supporting middle school career exploration activities, and representing NUSD at school and community events. Through leadership training, mentorship, and hands-on projects, Career Ambassadors develop professional skills while inspiring others to discover their own career pathways.
